Investigation of impact of radiant heating and cooling on car driver thermal comfort
Pavlík, Vojtěch ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the matter of radiation heating, thermal comfort maintenance and setting optimal operation parameters for heating system equipped with radiation panels. The research section summarizes the effects most important for thermal comfort, methods of its determination, heat exchange distribution between the human body and its environment, and technical possibilities of heating car interiors. The central points of this work are the simulation of car interiors heated with radiation panels and the evaluation of thermal comfort with a virtual mannequin. Thermal state was determined via the equivalent temperature and thermal comfort zones diagram (method by O.H. Nilsson). Forty-two simulated scenarios led us to conclude that thermal comfort is not possible to obtain with panels exuding a maximum temperature of 43 °C and the combination of several heat sources is required. Nevertheless radiation heating considerably contributes to energy savings without the loss of thermal comfort in assessed car.

BÜRGEROVÁ, Anna
The aim of this thesis is to use a questionnaire survey to perform the overall structure of the mental characteristics of a selected sample of the population and to reveal the effect of regular cold showers on the mental well-being of probands. To obtain data on the mental structure, a standardized SUPSO-7 questionnaire was used, which the probands filled in at the beginning and end of cold showering. 48 students of the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice took part in the research. The first experimental group took cold showers for 11 months, the second experimental group took them for 3 months. A control group was created for the second experimental group. Probands took cold showers on average four times a week. Results of data obtained using the SUPSO-7 questionnaire demonstrations in the experimental group influencing mental well-being and activity in comparison with control objectives. In contrast, in the experimental group, there was a decrease in impulsivity, depression, anxiety, and depression compared to control goals. Only the increase in mental well-being was statistically significant (p = 0.02), but the results show that cold showers could have a positive effect on the individual's mental characteristics.

Furthermore, the work clarifies why and how class classes should be held and what topics are appropriate to include in their thematic plans. The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether the classroom classes contribute to the creation of a safe and relaxed environment at the Elementary School Zdice u Berouna. To verify this goal, I will use qualitative methods, namely structured observation of students' groups during class classes and structured interviews. Both qualitative methods take place on the grounds of Zdice Elementary School. They will conduct interviews with teachers who hold regular classroom classes and with selected pupils with whom their teachers practice these classes. Two different sets of...
